majorwhite.com ::: free portfolio websites for photographers
Why Major White?
- It's free.
- No joke. No hidden fees. You might want to purchase your own domain name for your site, but even that's optional.
- It's easy.
- You can select and edit your fine art portfolios easily on Major White, including all the snazzy stuff like drag and drop, inline editing, etc. All changes made on your portfolio site are reflected on flickr too, so you don't have to worry about doubling your work load.
- It's reliable.
- Your photographs are stored on and served by flickr.com, an established photography sharing site that is fast and reliable. Your work is in safe keeping.
How do I get started?
- 1. Upload photographs to flickr.com.
- If you already use Flickr to share your photos, you are already almost done.
- 2. Sign up for Major White.
- Just submit your name, email, and Flickr username. (Don't worry, I'll never use your info for icky stuff.)
- 3. Select and edit your portfolios.
- 4. There is no fourth step. You now have your own photography site.
